We have provided below some additional information to help you plan your holiday at Le Tilleul Gites.
We ask our guests to arrive after 4.00 pm and depart by 10.00 am as this allows us plenty of time to check, clean and restock the gites during our busy periods. We offer flexible arrival and departure days and normally request 7 nights minimum stay, but will try and accommodate shorter stays of at least 4 nights if we are able out of the peak season.
All prices shown are for a week’s stay and are in Euros. For shorter or longer periods please contact us for a price.
Please note: there is a No Smoking policy in both gites and No Pets are allowed.
What’s included in the price
Rental of the property, gas and electricity plus free internet/Wi-Fi.
All bedlinen, bath and hand towels and pool towels. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and handwash. If you do forget to bring some essentials, then we also have a "Forget-Me-Not" basket. There is an initial supply of provisions in the gites, such as toilet paper, cleaning products, tea, coffee and sugar, and for stays of 7 nights or more we also provide a ‘Welcome Basket’.
What isn’t included
A Tourist Tax (Taxe de Sejours) is common throughout France and is levied on all guests aged 18 or over staying in holiday accommodation. We have to collect this on behalf of the revenue services and the charge is 75 cents per adult per night for Les Hirondelles, and 60 cents per adult per night for La Bohème. This has to be paid by all guests in full and in euros, prior to departure.
We kindly ask our guests to leave the gites in the same clean condition that they find them on arrival and to clean them before departure. However, if guests do not wish to clean their gîte at the end of their stay, we can arrange a professional cleaning service for a fee.
In winter months we reserve the right to charge for wood for heating and electricity if the usage is over 50kw per week.
